The draft prospectus of UCB AML First Mutual Fund, the first open-end mutual fund to be managed by UCB Asset Management Limited, has been approved by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on its 751th Commission Meeting on 02 December 2020.
UCB Asset Management Limited is the Sponsor and Asset Manager of the Fund. Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited will act as the Trustee and BRAC Bank Limited will be the Custodian of the Fund.
The initial size of the Fund will be BDT 20.0 crore of which, the Sponsor (UCB AML) has contributed BDT 2.0 crore. The remaining BDT 18.0 crore will be raised through a public offer upon obtaining the Consent Letter from the BSEC.
The investment objective of the Fund is to generate superior risk-adjusted return for the valued unitholders.
